The purpose of yoga is to achieve Image optimum physical and mental health, which benefits the whole person.

The word "yoga" can be translated as union, or connection. Yoga practice is about uniting our bodies with our minds, and finding balance in the way we live our lives. Yoga is done at the individual's own level, in a non-competitive environment.

There are many many benefits to practicing yoga including a stronger body, a relaxed outlook, a feeling of connection with the body, a release of tension, a feeling of energy flowing freely through the body, a general feeling of well-being and joy.
